Hiking in the Mountains

The young man is hiking in a national park. The scenery is lovely, and the weather is nice. He is on a trail that winds through valleys and meadows, leading to a lake near the mountains. In his backpack he has water, some snacks and his MP3 player. When he gets to the lake, he will take a rest and enjoy his favorite music while he gazes at the snow-capped mountains. What a great way to relax and get away from the hectic city life!

- a meadow (n) = an area where there is grass but few trees

- gaze at sth (v) = look at sth for a long time
