VOCABULARY BUILDER

Camping in the Snow

The man likes to camp overnight in the mountains during the winter months. After the arduous climb, he pitches his tent and prepares for the frigid night. The tent must be pegged to the ground in case of a blizzard. The temperature can fall to -20 degrees Celsius so it's important to bring the right gear, including extreme weather clothes, gloves and a good sleeping bag. In his backpack he has a couple of thermos bottles filled with hot water, as well as high-calorie food, a lantern and, of course, his cell phone!
